The City of Vista has completed a transition to a new web domain and email system, prompting officials to remind residents to update their saved information and contact lists.
The city's official website is now accessible exclusively through vista.gov, replacing the previous commercial domain. City representatives are asking residents to modify any browser bookmarks they may have saved to ensure continued access to municipal information and services.
Email addresses for city staff have also changed as part of the update. All official correspondence from Vista employees will now come from addresses ending in @vista.gov. The transition means the city is no longer using its former email domains, which included both a commercial address format and an older municipal designation.
City officials expressed appreciation for residents' cooperation during the changeover and encouraged the public to update their contact information to maintain communication with local government offices.
