The City of Vista is offering residents a complimentary educational session focused on weed control and invasive plant species management next month.
The two-hour virtual seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, running from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants will learn fundamental information about weeds, invasive plant species, and Integrated Pest Management techniques.
Attendees will also receive updates regarding the city's updated Weed Management Plan and learn about current progress on the initiative.
The presentation will take place online through Zoom, and interested residents must register in advance to participate. For those unable to attend the live broadcast, city officials plan to record the session for viewing at a later time.
