Vista will hold its third annual Veterans Day ceremony next week, inviting community members to honor those who have served in the armed forces.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 267 S. Santa Fe Avenue across from Pepper Tree Frosty. City officials are encouraging residents to attend and show appreciation for current and former military personnel.
Organizers describe the ceremony as a chance for the community to unite in recognizing the dedication and sacrifices made by service members throughout the nation's history. The gathering aims to provide a space for public reflection and gratitude.
Residents are encouraged to extend invitations to veterans they know personally, including family members, neighbors, and friends who have worn the uniform. The event is free and open to all members of the public.
