San Diego County's Probation Department recently hosted a group of probation officials from Singapore, offering an opportunity for international exchange on juvenile justice practices.
County Probation Chief Tamika Nelson led the visiting delegation during their time in San Diego, according to the department.
As part of the visit, Nelson guided the Singapore officials through the Youth Transition Campus, a local facility that serves youth in the probation system. The tour allowed the international visitors to observe how San Diego County manages its youth probation programs and facilities.
