San Diego County officials will host their third annual resource fair designed specifically for disabled veterans on October 20, bringing together a wide range of support services under one roof.
The event aims to simplify access to critical resources by consolidating multiple services in a single location. Veterans attending the fair will be able to connect with providers offering healthcare assistance, mental health support, and employment counseling.
Additional services available at the fair include help with child support matters and assistance obtaining records. Organizers have also arranged for complimentary haircuts to be provided to attendees.
The annual gathering represents the county's ongoing effort to streamline support for disabled veterans, who often face challenges navigating multiple agencies and programs to access the benefits and services they have earned through their military service.
