San Diego County is offering multiple pathways for residents to satisfy federal work requirements necessary to maintain their CalFresh food assistance benefits.

Under recently implemented federal regulations, certain CalFresh recipients must meet work-related obligations to continue receiving support. County officials have developed resources to help beneficiaries comply with these mandates.

The county has made volunteer positions available directly through its own programs. Additionally, officials have established a partnership with 211 San Diego, working through an initiative called the WorkReady Hub to link individuals with appropriate opportunities.

These combined efforts aim to ensure that residents can access the assistance they need to fulfill the federal requirements while maintaining their nutritional benefits.
