Transportation officials will temporarily shut down a highway connector ramp in San Diego County overnight Thursday to complete drainage maintenance.
The ramp linking westbound State Route 94 to southbound State Route 125 will be closed from 9:30 p.m. Thursday, September 17, until 5 a.m. Friday, according to Caltrans.
Drivers heading west on SR-94 who need to access southbound SR-125 will need to use an alternate route. The recommended detour directs motorists to stay westbound on SR-94, then take the southbound Interstate 805 connector, followed by the eastbound State Route 54 connector, and finally the southbound SR-125 connector.
Caltrans is urging drivers traveling through the area to remain alert for construction workers and equipment. The agency noted that the scheduled closure could be postponed or modified depending on weather, traffic incidents, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Real-time traffic updates and road closure information are available through the state's online mapping service.
