California Department of Transportation crews will shut down connector ramps from westbound State Route 905 to Interstate 5 during overnight hours on four dates this month to complete striping work.

The closures are scheduled for September 17, 21, 22, and 29, running from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. each night. Drivers will need to use alternate routes during those hours to access the interstate.

Travelers heading north on I-5 will be directed to exit at Coronado Avenue, make a left turn, then another left onto Hollister Street before continuing toward Tocayo Avenue and SR-905. Those traveling south will follow a similar path, exiting at Coronado Avenue but turning right before making a left onto Hollister Street.

Drivers on westbound SR-905 trying to reach southbound I-5 will need to use the northbound I-5 connector first, then exit at Coronado Avenue and navigate back to the southbound lanes. Transportation officials are advising motorists to remain alert for workers and construction equipment in the area.

The agency noted that the closure schedule could change depending on weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction factors.
