San Diego County residents hoping to cast their votes by mail in the upcoming general election face a fast-approaching deadline this week.
The county has announced that voter registration must be completed by Monday, October 19, for those who wish to receive a mail ballot for the November 3 general election.
The deadline applies to all county residents who are not currently registered to vote or who need to update their registration information in order to participate in the election using a mail-in ballot.
