The Oceanside Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing man who has not been heard from since being dropped off at a hotel in the city.
Hector Christopher Cottrell was last seen when a family member left him at an Oceanside hotel, according to authorities. Since that time, his family has been unable to make contact with him.
Police say Cottrell may have been living without a permanent residence prior to his disappearance.
Anyone with information about Cottrell's whereabouts is urged to contact the Oceanside Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at (760) 435-4846.
