Oceanside Police Seek Information on Man Missing Since 2009

Marcos Espinoza has not been in contact with relatives for over a decade and may be using an alias, authorities say.

The Oceanside Police Department is asking the public for help locating a man who has been out of contact with his family for more than a decade.

Marcos Espinoza was last heard from by relatives in late 2009, according to authorities. He may be going by the names Rudolph Espinoza, Rudy Espinoza, or Daniel Night, police said.

At the time he went missing, Espinoza was dealing with medical conditions and his health was reportedly deteriorating. He previously owned a 1989 Jeep Wrangler, though investigators believe he likely no longer has that vehicle.

Espinoza is known to spend time in southwestern states including California, Arizona, and Nevada. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Oceanside Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at (760) 435-4846.
