The Oceanside Police Department continues to seek information about a man who has been missing for nearly two decades.
Hipolito Catarino Angon was last seen in Oceanside in 2005 and has not been heard from since that time. According to authorities, Angon had no prior history of going missing before his disappearance.
Police report that Angon maintained family connections in both Oceanside and Mexico, regularly traveling between the two locations. However, relatives in both areas have had no contact with him since 2005. Investigators noted that he did not depart in any vehicle at the time of his disappearance.
