The highway ramp connecting westbound State Route 94 to northbound Interstate 5 will be shut down for several consecutive nights this week as crews perform concrete barrier installation work, according to the California Department of Transportation.

The closure affects the connector ramp each evening from Sunday, November 1, through Thursday, November 5. Work will take place between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. nightly during that period.

Drivers who need to reach northbound I-5 from westbound SR-94 can use an alternate route by staying on SR-94 and taking the 25th Street exit. From there, motorists should continue straight onto F Street, which provides access to the northbound I-5 entrance ramp.

Transportation officials cautioned that the planned work schedule could be adjusted if weather conditions, traffic collisions, or construction-related issues arise. Drivers are urged to remain alert for workers and construction equipment when traveling through active work zones in the area.
