Vista seniors seeking guidance on Medicare enrollment can receive free assistance from insurance professionals at the McClellan Senior Center this fall as the annual open enrollment window approaches.
The open enrollment period runs from Thursday, October 15, through Monday, December 7. Any coverage decisions made during this timeframe will become effective January 1, 2027. Medicare regulations are being updated for 2027, making it important for beneficiaries to review their options.
Representatives from Royal Benefits Insurance will be available at the center on October 23, November 6, and December 1. Lago Insurance Group will hold a session on October 16 at 11 a.m., which will include light refreshments for attendees.
The McClellan Senior Center is located at 1400 Vale Terrace Drive. Seniors interested in attending these sessions are asked to register by calling 760-643-5288 or sending an email to scstaff@vista.gov.
