A new affordable housing development designed specifically for senior residents broke ground in Imperial Beach, marking a significant step toward addressing housing insecurity among older adults in the community.
The Haven on Palm will include 50 residential units dedicated to providing affordable homes for seniors. The project targets a particularly vulnerable population, with 25 of the units specifically designated for older adults who are currently experiencing homelessness.
Construction officially began on the development, which aims to offer both stable housing and support services to senior residents in the Imperial Beach area.
