County officials have announced temporary leadership changes for two key departments that serve vulnerable populations.
Dijana Beck will take on the role of interim director for Behavioral Health Services, while Brigit Cooper has been named interim director of the Office of Homeless Solutions. Both appointments are effective immediately.
The Behavioral Health Services department oversees mental health and substance abuse treatment programs throughout the county. The Office of Homeless Solutions coordinates efforts to address homelessness and provide housing assistance to residents in need.
County officials did not indicate how long the interim appointments would last or whether a search for permanent directors is underway.
