A challenging hiking event designed to pay tribute to the armed forces will take place this Saturday in eastern San Diego County.
The Warrior Hike Challenge is scheduled for November 7 at El Cajon Mountain, which is located within El Capitan County Preserve. This marks the eleventh year the annual event has been held.
Participants will tackle one of the region's most difficult hiking trails as a way to recognize and honor the military community. The mountain is known among local outdoor enthusiasts for its strenuous terrain.
